I am a registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. I qualified at the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) in London and am a member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA – www.craniosacral.co.uk) and the International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings – http://biodynamic-craniosacral.org).
I am also a Chi Kung teacher, German teacher and Reiki practitioner.
After I finished my university degree in English and Spanish Philology and Adult Education in Germany, I moved to London, where I have been a German teacher to adults since 2002.
I have always been interested in Asian arts and philosophy and started doing martial arts (mainly Karate and Aikido) at the age of 14. I also practised Hatha Yoga for a few years before I discovered Chi Kung in 2007.
My body’s reaction to Chi Kung was instant and strong as my chronic backache disappeared as a result.
After two years of practice, I started teacher training with the College of Elemental Chi Kung and have held a diploma since June 2011. I continued with the 2-year advanced training of ‘Internal Alchemy I and II’. My intention is to pass on this healing art to as many people as possible and help them to be more present, grounded and relaxed.
My Chi Kung practice made me realise that I was highly attracted to stillness and I found out that Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapists also work with stillness. This led me onto the path of finding out more about this incredibly beautiful therapy before I had even received a session myself. In hindsight, I think I have always been looking for the connection to stillness and anything that works with stillness is something very special.
In July 2017, I graduated as a Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist (BCST) at the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) in London. I then continued to do this same course two more times. Once as a floater and once as a teaching assistant.
